As our month in St. Martin came to an end, our final week was a perfect blend of wrapping up responsibilities and soaking in every last bit of the island’s magic. It’s hard to believe how quickly the time passed, but we definitely made the most of every moment during our last few days.

One of our biggest accomplishments was finishing our campaign on Mullet Bay Beach. What started as a simple class assignment turned into a creative project that we poured our hearts into. We used cost-effective strategies like a “message in a bottle” concept and sticker placements around the island to bring attention to Mullet Bay’s natural beauty. After interviewing locals and tourists, crafting messages, and brainstorming ways to spark engagement with our #mulletbaymoments hashtag, it was so rewarding to finish the final product. The campaign helped us apply what we learned in class while making a real connection to the place we’ve called home for the past month.

To celebrate our hard work and say goodbye in style, we went on a dinner cruise along the coast of St. Martin. It was a dreamy evening—gliding across the water while the sun set, enjoying a delicious dinner, and dancing under the stars. The breeze was warm, the mood was light, and it felt like the perfect way to reflect on all we’ve experienced.

Our last few nights were spent diving into the nightlife one more time. From beach bars to lively dance spots, we wanted one last taste of St. Martin after dark. There’s something so special about the island’s energy at night—everyone is smiling, the music never stops, and you feel like you’re part of one big celebration. We made new memories, laughed nonstop, and tried to hold onto the feeling of being carefree and connected.

We also made a point to head into Philipsburg for some last-minute shopping. The capital’s vibrant streets were the perfect place to find unique souvenirs and gifts for friends and family back home. From handmade bracelets and Caribbean spices to colorful t-shirts and local art, we grabbed a few final reminders of our time here.

One of our favorite low-key stops was a visit to Juggie’s Place—officially known as the smallest bar in the world. Tucked away and full of personality, Juggie’s offered a laid-back vibe and cold drinks in a space barely big enough for a handful of people. It was quirky, charming, and unforgettable—just like the island itself.

As we packed our bags and said our goodbyes, it was clear that this wasn’t just a study abroad trip—it was a life experience. From launching a campaign to jumping off boats, we’ve grown in ways we never expected. St. Martin will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we’re heading home with sun-kissed skin, full hearts, and stories we’ll be telling forever.
