Week three was filled with even more incredible adventures and memories. This week in class we worked in Sprinklr more and started the process of making our campaign books. A big part of class this week was coming up with our “Big Idea”, what our campaign will be centered around and what strategies we will use to create results. This was definitely a challenge because we do not have a budget to work with. So, we had to get creative and come up with innovative ways to market our beaches. My group came up with the idea of local bars and restaurants coming together to create a secret menu of drinks you can only get if you know the secret phrase, “The Sandbar Secret”. Customers that order these drinks will post it on their socials pushing out content for Orient Bay beach. After we came up with our ideas, we worked on a creative brief that we will move forward into our campaigns book with. By the end of this week, we started getting into creating our books and collecting insights and data on Sprinklr. I am just starting to get familiar with Sprinklr since I have never used it before, but It's getting easier to navigate the more we use it. We have taken and completed all the Sprinklr University courses and received certificates that go along with what we are learning.

Our adventures as a class this week were a trip to the rhum distillery and another catamaran boat tour! I can't decide which one was my favorite because they were both a lot of fun. At the rhum distillery, me and my classmate Jillian got to volunteer and “serve” our classmates. She cooked chicken while I handed out samples. We got to go behind the scenes and see how the distillery operates and produces their products. The Catamaran tour was another fun day that started bright and early. Once we got going, our first stop was about an hour away at Prickly Pear Kays. We snorkeled and dove off the boat for a little while before heading to our next destination.

Our next stop was the island of Anguilla. On our way there though we saw a pod of dolphins that followed us for a good couple of minutes, and it felt like a movie. I have seen dolphins before but never in the wild like this. We soon arrived in Anguilla and got right into the water. We had a fun time floating around and got back on the boat to head home. I can't believe we are coming up in our fourth and final week. This has been an amazing experience, and I don't want it to end. This trip has been an amazing growing and learning experience as well. We have all become so close and are already making plans for when we are back in Tuscaloosa. I'm sure this last week will be just as fun as the previous, just a little more bittersweet.
